Mission Resourcing are working with a well-established name in structural steel, looking for a Structural Fabricator to join their workshop team in South Yorkshire. Your day-to-day:
- Fabricating heavy structural steel (beams, columns, assemblies)
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Measuring, marking, cutting + assembling components
- Using band saws, burning torches, grinders + overhead cranes
- Tack welding pre-assemblies (full welds by coded welders)
- Ensuring all components meet tolerance + quality standards
- Collaborating with workshop supervisors + teammates
What you’ll bring:
- Proven structural steel fabrication experience
- Ability to read + interpret fabrication drawings
- Skilled with cranes, fabrication tools + machinery
- Knowledge of fabrication standards + tolerances
- Safety-first mindset + attention to detail
- Bonus: NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)
